Basic Gardening Tips 101.
First and foremost Gardening should be looked as a hobby not
a chore. I mean mowing the lawn and picking up critter debris or what i wll refer to as "easter eggs", isnt gardening...those
are chores.
2nd Tip: Don't try to do it all in one day.It
is tempting to try and finish but be realistic. When you get tired, grab a chair and sit and enjoy what you have done. Your
garden doesn't care if you throw out your back, weeds will not disappear, believe me.
3rd tip: Don't spend more than you can afford to lose. Like
gambling, it's a miss and hit suituation. To get the odds to your side a few hints.
Hint 1: start small and kept mobile. Put in larger
pot till you can decide where plant will be happiest. If in pot, you can move till you find where it does best.
Hint 2:Pick what you want. Comman
sense does apply, no ferns in the desert and no cati in the everglades. Pick what you want, just remember small plants. I
have most my plants in pots for several reasons:
a: i rent
b: moles/gophers
c: easy to move when weather changes
